Mother and Son for AJJ

While I was making my last digital journal page, I was also experimenting
with some images from Craft CD's. as well as the My Craft Studio program I usually use.
Now I am definitely not computer savi so this did take me a while to suss out.
I have taken the courage to share  a couple with you.

These are the print outs of a two of them,
I did have to trim them down a bit before sticking them into my 7  x 10 inch journal.
By this time I realised I had forgotten to save the page.
The digi images I added are from Flights of Fancy[Crafters Companion]
I was quite happy with how they looked at this stage and that the baby had showed up in the background.

I toned the colour down giving it a wash down in places  using diluted  white gesso.
Some added random  stencilling using acrylic paints, and joy of joys I was back again with messy fingers.
Then I re- coloured parts of the images with water colour paints

This is how they look together,  the  handsome son and his Mom.

    1. I use a heavy paper to print on Valerie and leave them overnight to be sure they are dried out. I don't have the brush too wet, its always well blotted on kitchen paper. So fingers crossed no problems as yet.

I like the way you have combined digital and "real art" and your painting of the stamps is so skilfully done.
